Mission

Our mission is to provide trained and ready forces to accomplish mission requirements for State, Homeland Defense, and National Security as well as contributing to the communities in which we live, work and serve.

When in active federal service, we serve as an expeditionary logistics command by providing command and control for all assigned, attached and operationally controlled units for the purpose of sustainment planning, guidance and support to forces in an area of operation defined by the theater support command.

About Us

The 184th Sustainment Command, headquartered in Monticello, Mississippi, is a senior Army logistics unit with a rich history of service to Mississippi and the United States of America. The 184th Sustainment Command serves as a major subordinate command (MSC) within the Mississippi Army National Guard, providing administrative and training oversight for more than 2500 Soldiers in MSARNG units throughout the state. Our subordinate units include: the 168th Engineer Brigade and their subordinates, 890th & 223d Engineer Battalions; the 298th Support Battalion and their subordinates, the 367th and 3656th Maintenance Companies, the 1387th Quartermaster Company (water), and the 1687th Transportation Company (medium truck); as well as the 31st Support Detachment (Rear Operations Center) and the 114th Support Detachment (Army Liaison Team).
